I recently watched a documentary about late bloomers on Arte. It was a wonderful documentary about people who live out their fulfillment or talents late.
I couldn't get the subject out of my head for many days because I found myself thinking about it.
Today I am 46 years old and I have been painting almost every day for several years. Painting and creating has always fascinated me, but I have never lived it out, fear, doubt, distraction and many other influences have prevented me from doing so.
What would interest me is what made Late Blommer change her life completely. Because on the one hand you have life experience and that can guide you, but I see it differently. Life experience doesn't bring about major changes, it's inevitable events and strokes of fate. These catapult us out of the comfort zone from one second to the next. Illness, death, separation... turn our lives upside down, a feeling of powerlessness and total loss of control. We either break or go on a journey into our innermost being. A journey into our innermost being is also a journey into our past. An unfiltered mirror of our soul.
This journey is our destiny to follow our individual destiny.
